WIRELESS OR UNDERGROUND? CAN I INSTALL IT MYSELF?
Whether you choose a hidden, underground fence or a wireless fence, installation is EASY! However, the wireless fence has little or no labor for installation. Both need little or no maintenance. Choose which is best for you!
A WIRELESS FENCE relies on a transmitter and radio collar. The transmitter emits radio waves. When your pet is too close to the radio waves it sounds a warning. If your dog does not heed the warning, a small shock similar to static electricity corrects your pet. Your dog will return to the allowable area. INDOOR WIRELESS FENCE is also available to keep your pet away from off-limit areas in your home.
An UNDERGROUND FENCE works like an antenna, with the wires buried about 4 inches under your sod. The labor entails digging the trench for the wire and may not be for everyone. When your dog gets too close to the buried wire, it sounds a warning. If your dog does not heed the warning a small shock similar to static electricity corrects your pet causing your pet to return to the SAFE and allowable area. Flags are generally supplied to remind both you and your pet where the border is located.
